Just Can’t Go to Sleep
If you are like me, you probably stay up late at night going through tomorrow’s schedule in your head or trying to make a decision. I like to sweat over the small stuff so much that I often wake myself up throughout the night. This often is helpful once in a while when I have to get everything set for the next day, but when I wake up in the morning it is not so great because I am grumpy and tired. Other times it might be something that I’m really excited to do or see, but again I get tired and wonder why. However, most of the time I usually stay up at night stressing out over homework, future important dates, my grades and lately what I am going to do for college.
My sister on the other hand can’t fall asleep because she just wants to create a weird imagination. I don’t often have this problem, but others like you may. Having a vivid imagination is such an awesome thing to have in a person’s personality. That person who is staying up at night just thinking of random things may just be the winner of the Nobel Peace prize or the next person to solve the current largest world problem.
People just can’t get to sleep for a number of reasons which is not always the greatest thing. This could be because we are so particular about the way we want things or we just have a great imagination. I believe though as good as these things can be sometimes, they probably shouldn't be done while we are trying to sleep so that way we aren't grumpy in the morning!
I really enjoyed reading this blog post because I sometimes can never fall asleep either! Everyone at some time or another run into the same problem so this blog post would be interesting to almost anyone. Imagination is so important. It is the reason why we have the amazing technology and knowledge that we do today. I hope you make more blog posts like this one!
ReplyDeleteI also have trouble falling asleep and I think that my situation is similar to your sisters. I tend to lay in bed from up to 5 hours without sleeping and just thinking. I value this free time that I get to think, but I completely agree that losing sleep can have so many negative effects.
ReplyDeleteI also can never fall asleep or stay asleep. I am always walking up during the night and thinking about things while trying to fall asleep. this causes me to have a lack of energy throughout the day.
